We accept submissions from students throughout all academic disciplines and across the world. The only requirement is that your work concerns a sociological question of interest. We give priority to those who have matriculated into a two- or four-year college or university — including students who have graduated. Nevertheless, we do also consider high-quality work from others as long as they meet our standard of publication.
For academic research papers, the minimum is 20-25 pages long (double-spaced, font size 12, standard margins, excluding appendices, references, or illustrations). There is no maximum limit of length.
There is no requirement for a specific citation format at the time of initial submission. That said, feel free to submit in whichever citation format you have at the ready (as long as they are up to standard and comprehensible, of course).
There are two rounds of submission for the 2024-2025 Issue: the earlier round is due on the last day of September, and the second round is due on January 30, 2025. We encourage you to submit early, as it gives us more time to review your work and provide feedback when necessary. You will have more time to edit your piece and perfect it for final submission and publication.
