About Us
The Chicago Journal of Sociology (CJS) was founded in 2014. Since then, our publication evolved under the leadership of undergraduate students and the Department of Sociology.
We work to showcase excellent undergraduate work in sociology from universities across the globe, while giving student editors the experience of turning BA theses into published academic articles. We value clear, straightforward prose, careful citation, and a wide range of methodological approaches, both quantitative and qualitative.
